SDG signed agreements with a Fortune 100 beverage company for the implementation of an identity management (IdM) system

A Fortune 100 beverage company has signed agreements with SDG Corporation for the implementation of an identity management (IdM) system. SDG has been awarded this major contract as a result of extensive planning and solution designing conducted by SDG’s Security and Identity Management (SIM) solution architects. The implementation phase award followed an audit of the SDG drafted system implementation plan by an independent consulting organization, the Burton Group, and after a thorough review of SDG’s demonstrable success at other large organizations.

The solution features Sun’s comprehensive identity management solution to protect, store, verify, and share identity data throughout the client’s enterprise. These features are vital to protect their information assets as well as to meet the relevant regulatory compliance and privacy obligations. SDG designed a comprehensive enterprise wide solution for a Fortune 500 commercial banking client followed by a successful CMDB implementation.

A CMDB implementation project followed the well-executed efforts of the SDG team to design a comprehensive enterprise wide solution for our Fortune 500 commercial banking client. The effort was planned on an aggressive timeline, and included not only the implementation of a customized Atrium CMDB product, but also data population, systems integration with Mercury Application Mapper for Configuration Item (CI) discovery data, as well as with legacy downstream systems.

The project is part of an overall Remedy upgrade effort. The complete suite is due to be phased in by the end of September 2006, having taken about 6 months to complete. Typical industry timelines for such a scale of implementation range from 12 to 18 months.

The SDG customer has depended on SDG to provide extended expertise outside of the original SOW in assisting with infrastructure design as well as optimizing integration with the legacy systems by leveraging existing tools within the Bank to provide for a robust, high performance system. The integration of Remedy/ CMDB with MAM is a groundbreaking venture, distinguishing SDG as one of the very few solution providers to design and implement such an automated system interface.

SDG played a key role in the development and deployment of the Internet based Video Player for one of our diversified Fortune 10 companies. A Solutions Architect from SDG became our client’s “Go to Guy” when it came to the infrastructure that supported the video player on the internet.

SDG architected and deployed a solution that crossed not only the client’s datacenters but also with a major distribution company to deploy streaming media services designed to handle millions of simultaneous requests without impacting its performance.

The Video Player has been a success and has opened a new line of revenue for our client based on advertising with video clips before the content and banner ads are loaded onto the player’s framework

SDG was awarded the CMDB Implementation project by a Fortune 500 commercial bank

Due to the superb efforts of the CMDB Design team at one of our new clients, a Fortune 500 commercial bank, SDG was awarded the CMDB Implementation Phase. BMC was brought in to audit the SDG work product upon completion and were highly impressed with the quality of SDG deliverables.

The CMBD implementation phase is under way and focuses on leveraging the Mercury Application Map tool to discover all application Configuration Items together with their relationships right down to the network layer. The majority of the data is federated. The Remedy CMDB from BMC is the most recent software release of the product. SDG is one of the few companies yet to deliver this solution to a client.

SDG played a pivotal role in a new digital video business venture for a diversified entertainment Fortune 100 customer . The venture is a business-to-business marketplace for digital video syndication. The service enables partners to access, distribute and monetize online video content. The client business connects content licensors to additional distribution outlets, web publishers to additional content, and advertisers to a dynamic audience. In May, large portions of the SDG EAS Practice began helping our client design and build the solution. The business has been funded by a large percentage of the affiliate TV Stations and is positioned to generate large revenue streams in the next six months.
