SDG completes Mobile Platform Project for Global Financial Services Firm

NORWALK, CT (November 14, 2012) -- SDG Corporation, an award-winning Advisory Services, Technology Services and IT Governance, Risk and Compliance products and systems solutions provider, announced today the completion of a major website, mobile redevelopment, and deployment project for one of India’s largest financial institutions.

The Mobile Platform Project allows the financial institution to create a more powerful multi-channel access for its customers within the energy, healthcare, media, transportation, and manufacturing industry sectors within India as well as all other global markets.

SDG analyzed the financial institution’s business requirements, provided an approach for development and implementation that brought together the right technologies and workflow processes, and created a set of web services allowing the front-end applications: website, interactive voice response (IVR), mobile banking, and CRM to interconnect in real-time with the mainframe system.

The system called for the use of a global enterprise service bus and sLink services for providing the required information while at the same time receivable system users had to be created and validated against the LDAP system. Business logic was moved from front-end to middleware; thereby building a framework for all front-ends to use for accessing data and information.

“This was a major re-design for this prestigious financial services provider. SDG needed their customers and stakeholders to get all relevant information, regardless of the device or platform: phone, web, mobile, SMS, and more,” said Ajay Gupta, President and CEO, SDG Corporation. “We worked closely with their IT and business managers to guarantee the project stayed true to their corporate standards for esthetics, content, IT security and compliance.”

Additionally, SDG worked to insure that the project met current system goals, objectives and requirements as well as that the architected and deployed website was scalable to meet the future needs of integration with internal systems.

“It’s all about forward-thinking,” added Gupta. “SDG, as it does with all clients and projects, diligently works with the team from the initial concept through post-delivery to dive deeper into what they currently need and want and what is future possible.”

The Mobility Platform Project showcases the thousands of man-years of IT development, services, support and strategic advisory services that SDG brings to each and every project.
