SDG Corporation, a proven leader in developing, implementing, and supporting client business applications, announced that it will be the
business applications Quality Assurance and Testing partner for the Fire and Security business segment of a $39bn net revenue (2005) diversified industrial products company.
SDG will be
responsible for providing guidance on software QA best practices and methodologies.
This responsibility includes designing, assembling, and executing a testing lifecycle. With the introduction of an enterprise testing lifecycle, all applications scheduled to be released into the client’s business environments will be tested by SDG personnel to confirm full functional capabilities of the final products and data.
SDG is recognized by their customers for the highest level of software development quality.
It is of no surprise to them customers now request the SDG Quality center-of-excellence (COE) be offered as an independent service.
This new engagement will yield the customer an on-demand QA and
testing model comprising a mixture of onshore and offshore resources adjusting to workload demand.
The previous fixed overhead for maintaining an internal QA department will be reduced and variably scale with development programs.
